ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - The Latest on an Anchorage bank robbery (all times local):

12:30 p.m.

The FBI says the armed men who robbed a downtown Anchorage bank on Thursday morning were tall.

Photos released from inside the bank indicate one suspect is about 6-feet-4.

He wore a red hooded sweat shirt with white lettering on the front and was carrying a shotgun.

The second suspect was about 6-feet-2.

He wore a gray, zip-up hooded sweat shirt and red tennis shoes. His low-riding trousers indicated he was wearing red underwear with white polka-dots.

Both men are African-American. Their faces were partially covered by sunglasses.

Witnesses say the suspects carried a duffel bag with blue or purple handles.

The men entered a Wells Fargo Bank at 630 E. Fifth Avenue at 10:14 a.m. and demanded cash. They escaped on foot.


11:10 a.m.

The FBI says two armed men robbed a bank Thursday morning on Anchorage’s east side.

One man was armed with a shotgun and the other with a handgun.

The men at 10:14 a.m. entered the Wells Fargo Bank at 630 E. Fifth Avenue and demanded money.

They carried off cash in a duffel bag with purple straps and left on foot.

Witnesses say both were African-American and both wore sunglasses.

One wore a red sweat shirt. The other wore a gray sweat shirt and red shoes.
