GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - No one was seriously hurt when a car being pursued by Grand Forks police officers crashed into another vehicle at a city intersection.

The chase that reached speeds of 60 mph in city limits began shortly before 7:30 p.m. Thursday when officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance, and a car fled from the scene.

Authorities say the car eventually crashed into another vehicle and the driver unsuccessfully tried to flee on foot.

A passenger in the car was evaluated by paramedics at the scene and declined to be taken to a hospital. The driver of the second vehicle was not injured.

Police arrested a 37-year-old man on numerous charges including fleeing, motor vehicle theft and simple assault.
