PHOENIX (AP) - The Latest on a north Phoenix shooting (all times local):

11:45 a.m.

Phoenix police are looking for a 19-year-old man suspected of shooting a 40-year-old woman he was romantically involved with.

Police say the shooting happened on Thursday afternoon at an apartment complex off Cave Creek Road and Shea Boulevard.

The woman had been shot and was sent to the hospital in extremely critical condition.

Police say Maleqe Thompson was seeing fleeing form the scene and is still missing.

He’s considered armed and dangerous.

Police say a woman is hospitalized in extremely critical condition after being shot outside a Phoenix apartment complex.

They say they’re still searching for the shooter.

Police say the suspected shooter and the woman may have recently been in a romantic relationship.

Their names weren’t immediately released Thursday.

Police say the woman is around 40 years old and she suffered life-threatening injuries after being shot several times.

They say there are no indications at this time that the incident is related to the ongoing serial street shooter investigation in the Phoenix area.
