BATTIEST, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a 23-year-old woman has been killed in a single-car crash near Battiest in southeastern Oklahoma.

The OHP says Chelsea Bayles of Bethel was dead on arrival at a hospital following the crash just after 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.

An OHP report says Bayles was westbound on a McCurtain County road when her car went off the roadway in a curve and crashed into a utility pole.

The report says the weather was clear and the roadway was dry at the time.
