PHOENIX (AP) - Last month wound up being the fifth hottest July on record in Phoenix.

The National Weather Service reports that the average high temperature last month in Phoenix was 108 degrees with the average low at 86 degrees.

The only day that the heat didn’t reach 100 degrees was July 1.

Phoenix had .89 of an inch of rain last month. That’s .16 below average.
