RENO, Nev. (AP) - Nevada has cracked the Top 100 all-time college football rankings issued by The Associated Press - barely.

Nevada comes in tied for the 99th position along with Columbia, William & Mary and Bowling Green.

The AP used 80 years of poll data and a simple formula to put together the first-of-its-kind list released on Tuesday.

One point was awarded for each appearance in the poll over the years, two points for No. 1 rankings and 10 points for national championships.

The top five teams using those criteria are: Ohio State, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Alabama and Southern California.

UNLV didn’t make the list.

The highest ranked team in the Mountain West Conference is Boise State at No. 61.
