HARLEYVILLE, S.C. (AP) - A second person has died as the result of an accident on Interstate 26 northwest of Charleston that claimed the life of an 8-month-old child.

Local media outlets report the accident happened on July 26 near Harleyville. It claimed the life of 8-month-old Amare Paige of Saint George.

Now Dorchester County Coroner Alice Durr says that 15-year-old Gregory Primus died last Friday of injuries sustained in the same crash.

The accident happened when the SUV the children were riding in swerved off the interstate, hit a tree and overturned.
