WATERVILLE, Maine (AP) - Gov. Paul LePage will speak before the Rotary Club of Waterville as he continues touting his plan to lower Maine’s income taxes.

The Republican governor is speaking on Monday at a luncheon meeting of the Rotary Club at the Alfond Youth Center. He recently spoke in Augusta and said his next budget will lower the state’s income taxes.

LePage was the mayor of Waterville from 2004 to 2011. The Morning Sentinel (https://bit.ly/2b3NX1o ) reports he most recently spoke in the city in March at the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce Business to Business showcase.

LePage has also been a City Council member in Waterville and was a member of the Rotary Club.
