BURLINGTON CITY, N.J. (AP) - The hunt is on for a man accused in a deadly shooting at a southern New Jersey home that also left a 5-year-old girl injured.

Burlington County prosecutors announced Sunday that they’ve filed murder and weapons charges against 26-year-old Samuel James. His last known address was in Burlington Township, but he’s also been known to stay in Burlington City and Camden.

James is charged in the shooting death of 24-year-old Byron Turner. He was found shot in the head outside his Burlington City home on Saturday night and died a short time later at a hospital.

Authorities say a 5-year-old girl who was in the area where the shooting occurred was injured while retreating from the gunfire but wasn’t shot. She was treated at a hospital for undisclosed injuries.
