HARRISON, Mich. (AP) - Authorities in central Michigan are examining a human leg bone that was found by a dog.

TV station WNEM (https://bit.ly/2b9t0VV ) says Clare County sheriff’s deputies were called Friday after the dog returned home with the bone, south of Harrison.

The bone came from a woman’s body. A cadaver dog from the state police searched the area but didn’t find anything. The bone will be tested to determine its age.
