SEATTLE (AP) - Two separate fires in the Seattle area have destroyed property overnight.

KOMO-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2bc0kpe ) that a greenhouse in north Seattle and a home in Arlington suffered substantial damage early Monday.

Officials say the greenhouse fire was caused by an electrical malfunction. Crews were able to extinguish the flames and the greenhouse’s damage was mostly confined to a storage area.

In Arlington, crews battled the two-alarm house fire for more than an hour before it was under control. The family of four that lives in the home was able to escape before firefighters arrived. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the house fire is under investigation.
