WASHINGTON (AP) - Police say they’ve arrested a man for writing anti-Semitic graffiti in Washington’s Chinatown.

Police say they arrested 60-year-old Generoso Anthony Capodilupo on Monday and charged him with multiple counts of defacing public or private property. Police said in a statement that on three different occasions in early August, Capodilupo defaced Chinese zodiac rat murals with anti-Semitic graffiti.

Police say that on Sunday he drew swastikas on the windows and tables of a coffee shop in the area and that on Monday he went to a different coffee shop where he drew swastikas on the business’ window.

Police say Capodilupo does not have a fixed address. It was not clear Tuesday afternoon if he had an attorney.
