OXON HILL, Md. (AP) - Two people are dead after separate early morning car wrecks in Oxon Hill.

State police say both wrecks occurred at about 3 a.m. on Interstate 495.

In one incident, the driver of a Suzuki motorcycle struck a Nissan Sentra and both vehicles ran off the road. Police say the Nissan overturned but the driver was uninjured and refused medical treatment. The motorcycle driver was transported to a hospital by ambulance and pronounced dead. In the second accident, the driver of a Chevrolet Tahoe struck a Toyota Camry, ran off the roadway and struck a guardrail. The driver was trapped in the vehicle and pronounced dead on the scene.

No names have been released.
