RICHMOND, Texas (AP) - Authorities say they are investigating a half-dozen cases over a nine-day span this month in which at least three people have been injured after being shot with BB guns.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s says the suspects have attacked residents in the Sienna Plantation subdivision - located southwest of Houston - on six different occasions from Aug. 19 through Aug. 27.

Investigators say one man was hit by a BB or a pellet in the leg while riding a bike, another man was shot in the shoulder while walking his dog and a 12-year-old boy was shot with a BB gun on the left side of his body. Other individuals were threatened with BB guns.
