SCRANTON, Pa. (AP) - Police have continued to search for the driver of a sport-utility vehicle who fled after fatally striking a bicyclist in northeastern Pennsylvania.

Police say 26-year-old Michael Harmer, of Scranton, was killed when the SUV crossed into the opposite lane and jumped a curb about 7 a.m. Sunday. Police say Harmer was riding in a lane near the sidewalk when he was hit.

Police found the vehicle later and interviewed the woman driving it, but determined she wasn’t the driver who killed Harmer. They were still looking for that person Monday.

Police have impounded the white Chevrolet Tahoe involved in the incident.
