PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Police have identified the suspect in Friday’s stabbing at a northwest Portland park.

Sgt. Pete Simpson said Monday that 50-year-old James McClure has been booked into jail on charges of attempted murder, assault, unlawful use of a weapon and robbery.

The victim, 28-year-old Kody King, remains in critical condition and has been unable to speak with detectives.

Those with information about the stabbing are asked to contact Portland police.
