MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Authorities say a young man on a bicyclist was killed in an apparent drive-by shooting in north Minneapolis.

Police say the shooting happened about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The Star Tribune (https://strib.mn/2alXGwG ) reports the victim was taken by ambulance to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, where he died.

Police have not said what prompted the gunfire. No arrests are reported.

Homicide investigators are interviewing several people. The name of the victim was not immediately released.
