BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - A 40-year-old man has admitted to assaulting several children at a Billings day care owned by his mother.

The Billings Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/2b1q3lK ) that Jared Addison Terhune pleaded guilty to several sexual assault charges Tuesday in Yellowstone County District Court. He’s being jailed on $250,000 bond.

Terhune is accused of sexually assaulting five children, ages 2 to 13, while they were at his mother’s day care, which closed in August 2014.

Court documents say Terhune would sometimes supervise the children when his mom, Sunshine West, wasn’t present.

West reportedly denied the allegations against Terhune to a parent of one of the victims.

Terhune will be sentenced in October, although a specific date has not yet been date.
