BOWMAN, S.C. (AP) - Authorities investigating the death of the daughter of a Richland County deputy who may have been pushed out of a van on Interstate 26 in Orangeburg County have charged a woman with failing to report the incident.

An arrest warrant says 31-year-old Ebony Roddick told Orangeburg County deputies she saw the victim jump from the van and didn’t notify police.

Authorities say 21-year-old Dominique Davis was hit by a truck after falling from the van near the Bowman exit on I-26 west.

Sheriff Leroy Ravenell says deputies are still talking to people and examining evidence and more charges are possible.

Roddick is charged with failing to provide information and render aid. It wasn’t known if she had a lawyer.

Davis was the daughter of Richland County Sheriff’s Sgt. Latavish Ulmer.
