After awarding the eighth-biggest jackpot in U.S. history Saturday, the Powerball drawing was reset Wednesday at $40 million.

The winning numbers were 66,27,11,9,67, with the red Powerball being 2.

If taken in a single massive payment, as most recent big lottery winners have chosen to do, the $40 million Powerball prize would be worth $28.1 million. Federal taxes would quickly consume almost 40 percent of that amount, with state taxes a possibility on top of that.

The winning ticket for Saturday’s $487 million jackpot was sold at a supermarket in Raymond, New Hampshire. As of Wednesday night, the ticket-owner had not come forward.

The $2 Powerball tickets are sold in 44 states, along with the District of Columbia and some U.S. territories.
