BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota’s congressional delegation says airports at Park River and Watford City have been awarded federal grants for improvements.

The delegation says the Park River Municipal Airport Authority is getting about $465,000 to build a new hangar.

The Watford City Airport Authority has been awarded $300,000 to study the environmental impact of a proposed runway extension.

The federal grants come from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration.
