NEW YORK (AP) - About 100 dancers will pay tribute on Sept. 11 with an outdoor performance at New York’s Lincoln Center.

Organizers say the work, called “The Table of Silence Project ,” is a “ritual for peace and healing.”

The performance is choreographed by Jacqulyn Buglisi (buh-GLEE’-see) of the Buglisi Dance Theater.

Buglisi was inspired by Italian artist Rossella Vasta’s sculptural installation of 100 ceramic plates that represent a banquet table uniting humanity.
