GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) - A 17-year-old Malta boy was killed in a single vehicle crash west of Saco.

The Montana Highway Patrol says the van the boy was riding in drifted off Secondary Highway 243 at about 12:15 a.m. Tuesday. The driver overcorrected, causing the van to go off the road and roll several times.

The Great Falls Tribune reports (https://gftrib.com/2bCj0n3) that Riley Baublitz died at the scene.

The patrol says neither the boy nor the driver, 22-year-old Antonio Cuesta Jr. of Walden, New York, were wearing seat belts. Officials did not know the extent of Cuesta’s injuries.
