WASHINGTON (AP) - Police have arrested two more people in a shooting that occurred at a McDonald’s near the Verizon Center arena in downtown Washington.

District of Columbia police said in a news release that 20-year-old Lafayette Booker of northeast Washington and a 17-year-old boy from Capitol Heights, Maryland, were arrested on Tuesday. Both were charged with assault with intent to rob.

A 15-year-old boy was previously arrested and charged with assault with intent to kill.

The shooting occurred shortly before noon on Aug. 12. The victim survived the shooting.

Online court records show Booker was charged in June with theft and assault on a police officer and was in court this week after being charged with failure to appear. The attorney who represented him in that case did not immediately return a message.
