GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Police in Greensboro say the death of a man found outside his home is being investigated as a homicide.

Greensboro police spokeswoman Susan Danielsen said in a statement that 44-year-old Robert Matthews was found dead around 6:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Danielsen says an autopsy has been ordered to determine how Matthews died.

No arrests have been made. Officers are searching the neighborhood for people who knew Matthew in hopes of finding a lead to a suspect.
