MONTOUR, Iowa (AP) - Authorities are investigating the death of a man who was killed by a passing train in Tama (TAYE’-muh) County.

First responders were sent around 8 a.m. Tuesday to the scene about a mile west of Montour (mahn-TUR’). The man was identified as 27-year-old Reginald Walker, of rural Tama.

Investigators are trying to determine why Walker was on the tracks.
