MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (AP) - Education leaders will discuss the future of career education at a pioneering Ohio regional campus that’s celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.

Miami University’s Middletown campus says Ohio Chancellor of Higher Education John Carey and new Miami University president Greg Crawford will join legislators Wednesday for a discussion on education.

The campus plans a celebration on Saturday with music, food trucks and other activities.

The school says students and faculty who were at the Middletown campus when it opened in 1966 will make donations to a time capsule that is to be sealed until the campus centennial in 2066.
