TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Police in Tucson say they’re still searching for a man who shot and wounded a woman in a hospital parking garage.

They put Tucson Medical Center on lockdown Tuesday night after the 9:15 p.m. incident.

Police say the 25-year-old woman suffered a non-life-threatening injury.

Her name hasn’t been released.

Police say the victim was returning to her vehicle in the hospital’s northeast parking garage when a man approached her.

They say the suspect tapped the woman on the shoulder and shot her for an unknown reason before fleeing the scene.

Arriving officers found the woman with obvious signs of gunshot trauma and called the Tucson Fire Department for paramedic assistance.

Police say they have a description of the shooter and what he was wearing at the time of the incident.
