HAMMOND, La. (AP) - Hammond police say three men have been arrested in the July 11 killing of a 65-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man.

Multiple media outlets report 20-year-old Elijah Walker, of Hammond, along with 26-year-old Raheem Doby and 23-year-old Jerald Fontenberry, both of New Orleans, were arrested Wednesday and face two counts each of first-degree murder and a single count of armed robbery.

Police say the men are accused of killing Beverly Thompson, and her nephew, Toreo Thompson.

Online jail records do not list attorneys for the men.
