WHITE OAK, Pa. (AP) - A police chief says the bodies found in a home in the Pittsburgh suburbs appear to be victims of drug overdoses.

White Oak police Chief Louis Bender tells the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that Allegheny County homicide detectives are leading the investigation, though all indications are the duo accidentally overdosed.

The bodies were found Wednesday night in White Oak and the county medical examiner was notified shortly after 11.

The victims’ names aren’t being immediately released.

The chief declined to release details and referred comment to the county police, who didn’t immediately release information.
