HUGER, S.C. (AP) - The fifth and final suspect in a fatal home invasion in Huger has been arrested.

Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Mike Cochran tells The Post and Courier of Charleston (https://bit.ly/2aKk3yP) that 18-year-old Darius Hamilton turned himself into authorities Wednesday afternoon.

Hamilton faces a murder charge, among other charges, in the July 21 shooting death of 27-year-old Kadeem Johnson.

Deputies say Palmer was one of five men accused of forcing their way inside a Huger home in the Francis Marion National Forest, killing Johnson and wounding an unidentified woman before fleeing.

The four other men have all been arrested on charges, including murder, in connection with the incident.

It isn’t clear if Hamilton has an attorney.
