DETROIT (AP) - A former mail clerk in the Wayne County Treasurer’s office has been charged in three misdemeanor sexual assault cases.

Prosecutors say 50-year-old Dennis Patterson was arraigned Thursday in Detroit on two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Last September, a treasurer’s employee reported that she was touched in an inappropriate way in their Detroit office. Prosecutors say a second female employee was touched inappropriately in April in a hallway.

A third treasurer’s office worker reported that she was inappropriately touched during a June 2016 event at a recreational area in western Wayne County.

Patterson was arraigned Wednesday in Westland on fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct in that case.

No defense attorney was listed in court records.
