NEW BLOOMFIELD, Mo. (AP) - A 30-year-old central Missouri man has been charged in the death of his infant son.

Christopher C. Buxton of Jamestown is charged with second-degree murder in the death of his son, Kyler Buxton.

The Columbia Daily Tribune reports (https://j.mp/2aUJekv ) that a probable cause statement says Christopher Buxton was home with the two-month-old baby on July 28 when the baby was admitted to a hospital with injuries. The child was taken off life support and died Saturday.

The probable statement says Buxton denied injuring the baby.

Online court records don’t list a lawyer for Buxton.
