MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is choosing spaghetti over Donald Trump.

Walker is skipping a Trump rally in Green Bay on Friday night so he can instead go to a fundraising pasta dinner for the volunteer fire department in tiny Grand View, Wisconsin, about 250 miles away.

Grand View’s population is about 160 people.

Walker had said Wednesday that he was not going to Trump’s first Wisconsin campaign rally as the Republican presidential nominee so he could tour flood damage in northern Wisconsin.

His schedule released Thursday shows that at the time of the evening rally Walker will be attending the “Firehouse 50” spaghetti fundraiser that’s centered around a bicycle race in the area.

Walker has endorsed Trump, but has been critical of some of his more controversial comments and positions.
