OREGON, Wis. (AP) - Authorities in Dane County have found the pickup truck driver suspected in the hit-and-run death of a bicyclist.

The sheriff’s office says the 35-year-old man from the Village of Brooklyn was booked into jail Friday on a tentative charge of hit-and-run causing death.

Deputies found the suspected driver and interviewed him. Authorities also seized a Ford pickup.

Sheriff’s deputies say the driver took off after striking the bicyclist at an intersection in the Town of Oregon about 6:30 a.m. Friday. The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The name of the 33-year-old man who was killed has not been released.
