DUNDEE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - A massive fire has destroyed a barn containing thousands of bales of hay, sending columns of smoke hundreds of feet into the air in southeastern Michigan.

The Monroe News reports (https://bit.ly/2azymct ) dozens of firefighters from several departments fought the blaze on Thursday night in Monroe County’s Dundee Township.

No injuries are reported.

The metal-sided barn was located in a wooded area. The cause of the fire wasn’t immediately determined, but witnesses say it spread quickly.
