QUINCY, Mass. (AP) - Police in Massachusetts say officers found more than $1.5 million worth of cocaine and a shoebox full of cash in an abandoned apartment in Quincy.

The Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office says state police troopers and Quincy officers recovered 37 kilograms, or 80 pounds, of the drug Thursday from the Hancock Street apartment. A shoebox containing $65,000 was also taken from the scene.

Police say it appears that the apartment unit was vacant.

State police and Quincy police are both still investigating the incident. No arrests have been made.
