ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) - The Rapides Parish Coliseum renovation project has passed the three-quarters completion mark.

Bill Tudor, principal for Alliance Design Group which is supervising the renovation project for the Police Jury, tells The Town Talk (https://townta.lk/2aTkWGC) the $22.9 million project, which began in April 2015, is 77 percent complete.

The Coliseum is scheduled to be ready to reopen by the end of the year. Tudor says the renovation will be complete enough, probably about 98 percent, to allow that to happen, with work to wrap up the final 2 percent to take place while the facility is open.
