MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - The Trial Court Vacancy Commission has selected three nominees from Shelby County to replace Circuit Court Judge Donna M. Fields, who is retiring Sept. 1.

Officials say the commission met on Monday in Memphis to consider 11 applicants to fill upcoming vacancy in the 30th Judicial Circuit.

After a public hearing and public interviews, the commission chose Lee Ann Pafford Dobson of Collierville, David M. Rudolph of Memphis, and Mary L. Wagner of Memphis.

The commission has forwarded the names to Gov. Bill Haslam for his consideration.
