CUMBERLAND, Md. (AP) - Cumberland city police say natural gas has been shut off in a neighborhood where a leak prompted the evacuation of about 20 homes.

Police said in a statement Tuesday they expect Columbia Gas workers to have the leak repaired before noon.

Police had also blocked off several streets in the area on the west side of the city along Bishop Walsh Road.
