ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - The state Department of Environmental Conservation’s 70-year-old outdoor magazine is going digital.

Commissioner Basil Seggos says the Conservationist will now be available in both print and digital editions.

The online edition will offer additional content, including video and audio files and more pictures.

For a limited time, the August 2016 issue online is being made available free. Readers can subscribe on the website (https://on.ny.gov/2aAX9XQ ).

A subscription to the Conservationist costs $12 for one year, or $21 for two years. Subscribers will get both the print and online editions.
