NEW HYDE PARK, N.Y. (AP) - Police on Long Island say several pedestrians were hurt when a car struck a bus stop.

It happened outside a shopping center on Union Turnpike in New Hyde Park just after 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say four people were treated for minor injuries.

It wasn’t clear what caused the accident.
