LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - A 40-year-old Rogers man has died after a crash on a state highway.

The Arkansas State Police says in a preliminary crash summary that Antonio Garduno was killed late Monday in Washington County.

The report says Garduno was traveling south on State Highway 71 around 8:02 p.m. and ran off the road after trying to take a curve.

Garduno tried to steer back onto the road, but traveled across both highway lanes and struck an embankment, causing his vehicle to overturn.

The report says a 22-year-old passenger was taken to an area hospital.
