OWINGSVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Officials say remains found earlier this week on a farm in Bath County belong to a missing woman.

Local media outlets report that the Bath County coroner says the remains discovered Monday underneath a brush pile near U.S. Route 60 in Owingsville are that of Crystal Warner.

Warner and her boyfriend, Bobby Jones, disappeared in July after visiting family in Letcher County. Their car was later found abandoned in Scott County.

Later in the summer, Jones’ body was found not far from the interstate in rural Clark County.

Trooper Scott Ferrell says authorities are still trying to determine the circumstances of the scene.
