DELAND, Fla. (AP) - Divine Myles scored 23 points, and Derick Newton added 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Stetson scored the last 10 points to beat South Alabama 87-78 on Saturday night.

Myles was 6 of 7 from the floor and made 10 of 12 free-throw attempts. Luke Doyle drilled 4 of 9 3-point attempts and finished with 14 points for Stetson (6-6). B.J. Glasford added 10 points and Angel Rivera dished out 10 assists.

Stetson took a 43-39 lead into halftime. The Jaguars opened the second half with a 10-0 run, led 51-48 with 15:45 remaining, and were up 74-71 with 5:38 to play. Myles made a layup and Newton drilled a 3 to give the Hatters an 82-78 lead with 2:05 left and Stetson held on for the win.

Don MuepoKelly and Georgi Boyanov had 16 points apiece for South Alabama (6-3), which has dropped three of its last four games.
