LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas police say three people were shot after a fight broke out in what appears to be an apartment complex’s dog park.

Authorities say they were called a little after 7 a.m. on Monday to the Chapel Hill Apartments on Russell Road near Fort Apache Road. Officer Laura Meltzer says callers reported a physical fight in a grassy area outdoors, then said they heard gunshots.

Police who responded say three people were wounded and were taken to University Medical Center. Authorities say their injuries don’t appear to be life-threatening.

Nobody has been arrested. Meltzer says it’s not clear what prompted the fight or shooting.
