SULPHUR, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a 3-year-old girl was killed when she was struck by a sport utility vehicle in southern Oklahoma.

The OHP says the girl was pronounced dead at a hospital where she was taken following the accident Sunday.

Her name was not released.

A police report says the child was struck in a driveway, but no other details were immediately released and the report says the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
