PHOENIX (AP) - A Glendale woman accused of selling fake coupon books has been sentenced to more than 15 years in prison.

Maricopa County prosecutors announced Monday that 42-year-old Christina Pacheco was sentenced to six concurrent prison terms.

She was charged with participating in a criminal syndicate, fraudulent schemes, identify theft and forgery.

The highest charge led to a 15.75-year sentence.

Sentences for all the other counts will be served at the same time and range from 10 years to 11 1/2 years.

Pacheco was arrested in March 2014.

Police say she created fake coupon books offering discounts on goods and services from local businesses.

Authorities say Pacheco claimed the books were a legitimate fundraiser for a student charity.

She then recruited teenagers to help her sell the fake coupon books.
