BASIN, Wyo. (AP) - Authorities have identified the two men aboard a small plane that crashed in northern Wyoming.

According to the Big Horn County Coroner’s Office, 34-year-old Grant Belden, of Thermopolis, died at the scene of the crash Wednesday and 56-year-old Miles Hausner survived the crash. Hausner is being treated at a Billings, Montana, hospital.

Their plane crashed Wednesday in a remote area in southern Big Horn County. The closes community to the crash site is Otto.

The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash. A cause has not yet been released.

The small aircraft, which was owned by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, had been on a predator control reconnaissance flight at the time of the incident.
