OREM, Utah (AP) - A drug bust in Orem has netted two arrests and more than $28,000 worth of heroin and methamphetamine.

The Daily Herald in Provo reports (https://tinyurl.com/golb7ox) 38-year-old Kelli Clark and 25-year-old Breanna Ketler, both of Springville, were booked into the Utah County jail Monday on night on suspicion of multiple drug charges.

Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped the women’s car near Utah Valley University at about 7:30 p.m. after they allegedly made several stops in Springville at residences of known drug users.

Deputies say a search of the vehicle turned up a small safe in a backpack containing a half-pound of meth and more than an ounce of heroin. A subsequent search allegedly turned up additional drugs at their home.

In addition to the drug charges, Clark is accused of driving on a denied license and texting while driving.
